Cautions for Diaper Bags Safety
Stores and malls constantly get theft reports of diaper bags. Thieves know what they potentially contain, and with more than 80% of diaper bags containing items of value, like ID and keys to the house, it becomes a desired target. Unlike a purse that is usually worn or at least close at hand, diaper bags find themselves sitting unattended far too often.
In parking lots, the cars with car seats and baby stuff strewn about signal the potential for that valuable diaper bag to be hidden in the trunk. While there is no real defence against trunk break-ins, you can at least keep your most valuable items with you at all times.
As always, be aware of your surroundings. If that baby tote has become your wallet, keep your diaper bags close at hand.
